Meeting with Sri Lanka Minister!

I am pleased to shared with GTAS members that the Sri Lanka High Commission has invited us for a meeting with Sri Lanka State Minister. The meeting was held on 15 July 2023 at SLHC.

Gem Traders Association of Singapore President Mr. A. Mohamed Bilal, Mr. Mohamed Akbar Sultan – Vice President, Mr. M. Rafi Ahmed – Secretary and Mr. Mohamed Jahaber Sadik – Treasurer are attended the meeting with Hon’ble Samara Sampath Dasanayake, Minister of State for Primary Industries and Mr. Viraj de Silva, Chairman, National Gems and Jewelery Authority. (NGJA)

A very useful discussion on how to improve and strengthen Sri Lanka and Singapore gem trade relations. Hon’ble Minister advises to NGJA Chairman to invite GTAS for delegation to Sri Lanka.

we felt that this is honoured our GTAS by Sri Lanka Government.
